On May 19, 2022, the CHS New York City Chapter had a great 100th Year Anniversary Kickoff Happy Hour in the Panorama Room of the Graduate Hotel on Roosevelt Island. The Panorama Room is located on the 18th floor of the hotel and offers breathtaking 360-degree views of New York City. The group enjoyed light bites and a cash bar.

The CHS New York City Chapter had a great “Hotelie Zinck’s Night and Welcome to Recent Alumni” at NYC’s newest hotel, The Graduate Roosevelt Island on Thursday Oct 21. It was held at the Panorama Room Rooftop, with amazing views of NYC. Thanks to all who joined us and to The Panorama Room team for their hospitality!
On December 12, 2019, CHS NYC hosted the CHS NYC Holiday Party at the Pierre Hotel – Two E Bar. With 55 attendees, guests enjoyed the historic hotel’s sophisticated residential-style lobby lounge over light bites and cocktails.

On November 11, 2019, CHS NYC hosted the 97th Annual CHS NYC Reception at the Gramercy Terrace on top of the Gramercy Park Hotel. With roughly 300 attendees, the evening of networking and fellowship was fueled by delicious cocktails and hors d’oeuvres served by Union Square Hospitality. Following the reception, guests enjoyed the exclusive Rose Bar for an intimate post event gathering.
97th Annual CHS NYC Reception
On Monday, May 13 CHS New York held the 2019 Future of Hotel Technology Panel at Voyager HQ, the global club for travel & hospitality innovators. Three panelists gave their perspectives on cutting edge trends in hotel technology, spoke to exciting new developments / acquisitions, and provided guidance on where hoteliers can make immediate improvements to their current tech stack or operating environment.
The event was hosted and moderated by Hotel Tech Entrepreneur James Nannos ’11. Panelists included Alissa Hendel ‘07 (ALICE – former CHS president), Tom Botts (Uplift – CCO), and Steffan Berelowitz (Travel Tripper – VP Digital).
Guests enjoyed complimentary beer & wine, networked with industry executives, and learned where technology is heading for hotels in 2019 and beyond. The event was also recorded and will be aired on the https://travelisyourbusiness.com/ podcast.
