Richy Petrina ‘01 is delighted to support the Cornell Hotel Society with A Private Wine Tasting For 12, In Ithaca.

The winner of this prize will enjoy a private tasting experience in an upscale and private ‘speakeasy’ tasting room in downtown Ithaca.

Wine novices are welcome! Just have a desire to learn, have fun, and be excited to go on a little wine adventure with eleven of your friends!

The tasting will be conducted by an Ithaca native, Cornell Hotelie, and experienced wine lover.

Schedule it around a special celebration, or simply use it as an excuse to gather friends and family on a chilly evening.

The fine print:

__ The wine tasting for up to 12 people will require approximately 1.5 hours

__ We recommend starting this around 5pm or 6pm as a pre-dinner experience

__ Crackers, still, and sparkling water will be provided alongside the wines

__ The winning bidder will be consulted to determine the proper level of education for all attendees – it is meant to be fun, not a super serious blind tasting – though that too can be arranged

__ The tasting can be held in the afternoon or evening on any date (weekday, weekend, or holiday) that is mutually convenient

__ The host often travels so the event must be booked at least one month in advance

__ All participants must be 21 years or older
